Dear Members of AFT 1-B,
Filing of AFT 1-B was kept pending till the decision of Government is communicated to the Hon Supreme Court on 04 Jan 2018 about refixing of pensions for all similarly placed Maj Gen/AVM/RADMs based on their judgement of 08 Dec 2017.
On 04 Jan 2018, the Govt Counsel pleaded for time till end March 2018 on the grounds of pre-occupation with Budget Preparation. The Hon Supreme Court has therefore extended the time till end Mar 2018.
It will not be prudent for us to delay filing of AFT 1-B till end Mar 2018. It is therefore decided to forward the documents of all Litigants including all Maj Gen/AVM/RADMs for filing AFT 1-B in Delhi.
If any Maj Gen/AVM/RADM wants to withdraw from AFT 1-B, a communication may be sent to Col (Dr) GB Sethi, General Secretary of TSEWA on his personal email ID (Not on Yahoo Groups), latest by PM 17 Jan 2018. If no communication is received by PM 17 Jan 2018, it will be deemed that the Maj Gen/AVM/RADM who have submitted the documents for inclusion in AFT 1-B have no objection and the case will be dispatched to Brig SKS Rana, President of the Legal Division on 18 Jan 2018 for filing in AFT Delhi.
I request all Members who have joined AFT 1-B to kindly see our Blog www.tsewa.org for the progress of AFT 1-B and kindly not send any enquiries on the subject.
I further request prospective Members of AFT 1-C (Sequel to AFT 1-B) to request for documents and dispatch them to Brig CS Vidyasagar, President TSEWA to his residential address/email communicated earlier.
Warm Regards,
Commodore Sudheer Parakala, IN (Retd)
Vice President & All India Coord for AFT 1-B
Tri Services Ex-Servicemen Welfare Association (TSEWA)
