Colonel Nagesh Chandra Gupta

Colonel Nagesh Chandra Gupta, a philanthropist aged 95 years, presently residing in the USA, was commissioned in the Indian Army in December 1949. He served our country in various capacities and was the General Manager of Tata Company and other firms. He represented India in Moscow, Paris, Melbourne, and Venice.

Colonel Nagesh Chandra Gupta has been actively involved in helping underprivileged students by providing financial assistance through the “Madhuri Seva Fund” established in memory of his late wife, Smt. Madhuri.

Over the past seven years, his contributions have enabled many students to continue their education. He has donated Rs. 26,35,173.00 (Twenty-six lakh thirty-five thousand one hundred seventy-three rupees) till March 31, 2024, towards college and examination fees to support underprivileged students appearing for SSC, Intermediate, and Degree exams. He also provided financial assistance during the Covid-19 pandemic.

“MADHURI SEVA FUND” donated a Five Stage RO System which provides 250 Liters per hour of purified water to each cooler with Bacterial High-Efficiency HI-Flow UV Sterilizers on 16 March 2024, for the benefit of students of Railway Degree College Tarnaka.

Additionally, he contributed Rs. 2,00,000.00 (Two lakh rupees) towards the TSEWA office building.
