It is with a sense of great pride, I inform you that on 08 Jan 2018, TSEWA distributed Rs 73,055 towards charitable activities to very deserving cases. The Charity Division headed by Col MK Veeramani with Cmde Sudheer Parakala and Hony Capt B Joseph as members have verified on ground the genuineness of these beneficiaries.
We received news from a Correspondent of Eenadu, a Telugu News Daily, Secunderabad that one Sri Venkateswara Rao, resident of Secunderabad working as a mason, was hit by a truck early in the morning few days ago. The truck driver ran away leaving his victim dead on the road. Sri Venkateswar Rao leaves behind his wife Smt Lakshmi and two children. The Charity Division went to the house and found that Smt Lakshmi is unable to give even feed her children as she is not educated and does not have a job.
The Charity Division immediately sanctioned Rs 25,000 as financial assistance to Smt Lakshmi to look after her children till she finds some employment.

TSEWA carries out these charitable activities with donations received from noble hearted members of this fledgling organisation. I hope our members will continue to support TSEWA with their donations so that we render more help to people who deserve our sympathy.
We are trying to identify widows of ESM who need our support as many of them do not get Ordinary Family Pension for many months and in some cases even years due to so many problems in documentation left behind by the deceased husbands.
We also request members of TSEWA to identify such deserving cases known to you and sent them to HQ TSEWA so that we can render whatever help is possible within our limited budget for charity. We need to expend the budget by 31 Mar 2018.
