Dear Member applicants for AFT 12 & AFT 13, We recently received a genuine query from one of our members as to why AFT 12 & AFT 13 aren’t combined as one case as these seem to be the same, to the extent of seeking the same relief and with near similarity in service criteria.
AFT 13 had been filed in AFT and has been allotted OA No. 457/2017. The case refers to Grant of pension of Lt Cols to all those pre-Jan 2000 Majs who put in more than 20 years commissioned service but less than 21 years commissioned service, incl family pensioners.
As informed by Brig KS Verma who has taken keen interest through his contacts in AG PS-4 (Legal) for speedy movement of our file of OA 166 / 2016, has informed me that the file movement is going on as per desired schedule and is very likely that the clearance will start from next week
