Mrs P Shakuntala Patnaik, an active, spirited 97 year old, had heard of the good work being done by TSEWA, particularly for families of veterans. She was keen to make a donation for the good cause, in memory of her father, Capt J K Patnaik who served with the Queen Victoria’s Own Sappers and Miners

Ex Nk E Nagaraju retired in 2001. In 2003, he got employment with Andhra Bank as a security guard.His basic pension was being paid into his pension account with State Bank of India. Inauguration of War Memorial honouring Lt Hawa Singh VrC The inauguration of a War memorial to honour Lt Hawa Singh VrC, 4/5 GR was held at his village Mirzapur, Hisar on 21 Nov 2019. A bust of the martyr was also unveiled. Lieutenant Hawa Singh laid down his life in the service of his country
