Ex Nk E Nagaraju retired in 2001. In 2003, he got employment with Andhra Bank as a security guard.His basic pension was being paid into his pension account with State Bank of India. However w e f 2003 , payment of Dearness Allowance (DA) was stopped.

Ex Nk E Nagaraju complained multiple times to CPPC, SBI, the branch managers, and Cpengrams but they did not restore payment of DA due to him. In fact, when he visited the CPPC SBI, Hyderabad with the response he had received from PCDA (Pensions) Allahabad, the astonishing reply given to him was, “Even Donald Trump cannot give you DA”!

Having been unsuccessful in all his attempts, he approached TSEWA for help. Lt Col Ravi Choudhury, Legal consultant for TSEWA, swung into action. He served a legal notice to the SBI. He personally met the Branch Manager twice and explained the case to him and the other bank staff.

As a result, ex Nk E Nagaraju was paid DA from 2003 to 2019 on 09 Dec 2019.
