Minutes of the Virtual/ Physical Meeting of the TSEWA National Executive Committee held at 1000 Hrs on 22 October 2022

The President welcomed all present in the meeting and informed the General Secretary may join late for the meeting.
Item No. 1. Minutes of the Last NEC Meeting: The President read out minutes of the last NEC Meeting and explained the progress on each point.
Action: Nil.
Item No. 2. Problems due to SPARSH Migration: The President informed that PCDA has agreed to accept Annual Life Certificates submitted at designated SBI Branches in addition to Jeevan Praman Website. Based on our recommendations, PCDA (P) has signed Agreements with a number of Banks including SBI to act as the Nodal points for redressal of grievances on SPARSH related problems. Maj Dr. B Bhikshapthy informed that Hav Harish Asthana has conducted the Meeting of Help Line Warriors and explained various problems related to SPARSH Migration and their probable solutions. In addition to few Help Line Warriors from TSEWA, a number of Senior Veteran Officers from Secunderabad (DVVGH) attended the meeting, who have appreciated the efforts of TSEWA and Hav Harish Asthana in this regard. In all, 19 Members attended the meeting.
In view of thin attendance of TSEWA Help Line Warriors in the meeting on SPARSH Problems, the President requested Hav Harish Asthana to conduct one more meeting on a convenient day, so that all Helpline warriors are fully aware of the problems and offer solutions to the veterans in need.
Action: The General Secretary is requested to inform all concerned and organize an online presentation by Hav Harish Asthana.
Item No. 3. Recognition of TSEWA: The President informed that TSEWA has not received any letter so far on the subject, but hoped to receive a positive reply from MOD.
Action: Nil.
Item No. 4. Appreciation of Services of Front line Warriors of TSEWA: The President reiterated the need of publicizing the services of TSEWA Help Line Warriors and requested Maj Dr. B. Bhikshapathy to generate a Standard Format for the Information to be submitted by each Help Line Warrior to HQ TSEWA.
Action: Maj Dr. B Bhikshapathy is requested to do the needful.
Item No. 5. Awareness Camp at Roorkee: Maj Gen SN Mukherjee explained in detail about the methodology of conducting meeting and proposed postponement of the Awareness Camp meeting to 08 Jan 23 due to Marathon Run being coordinated by Bihar Regiment and other functions connected with liberation of Bangladesh. The President requested Gen Mukherjee to review the proposed programme after going through the standard PPT designed for the awareness camps. He suggested that the programme on 08 Jan 2023 may be revisited during the next NEC Meeting.
Action: Maj Gen SN Mukherjee is requested to do the needful.
Item No. 6. Safe Deposit of ECHS Card by Reemployed Veteran Officers and JCO/ORs: The President informed that there is a letter from HQ ECHS on the subject. All effected ESM are requested to safe deposit the ECHS cards in consultation with Regional Director, ECHS Card, if they are reemployed and utilizing the Health Insurance Facilities provided by the Company / PSUs where they are presently re-employed.
Action: Nil.
There being no further points, the meeting was closed at 11:30 AM and decided to hold the next NEC Meeting on 12 Nov 2022.
