Minutes of the Virtual Meeting of the TSEWA National Executive Committee held at 1000 hrs on 23 October 2021

The President welcomed all present in the meeting and thanked them for their efforts to attend the virtual meeting. He requested the General Secretary to commence the proceedings.
Item No. 1. TSEWA ISO Certification: The General Secretary informed that renewal of ISO Certification of TSEWA has been completed and the certificate is likely to be received by next week or so.
Item No. 2. Training on TSEWA Website: The General Secretary informed that the training will be conducted on 25-26 October 2021, as scheduled.
Item No. 3. New Zonal Organization: The President explained the need for having a Zonal President to liaise with overseas members of TSEWA. The President suggested that Col N Sitaramaiah, Vice President be nominated as the Zonal President for Overseas Members. The same was approved by NEC.
Item No. 4. Jeevan Pramaan: The President informed that the facility for generation Life Certificate for the ESM has been established at TSEWA Office and few veterans have already utilized the facility. After seeing the Donors Board when they visited the TSEWA Office for generating Life Certificate, two veterans donated Rs 20,000/- each to TSEWA voluntarily. He requested all State Presidents to establish similar facilities at their Offices.
Item No. 5. Case of AFT 28B: The General Secretary informed that the case has been accepted by Brig SK Srivastava, TSEWA Advocate at Delhi and it will be filed shortly.
Item No. 6. Additional Pension for Veterans on completion of 79 Years of age: The General Secretary informed that about 26 members have already intimated their willingness to file the case. He informed that the Legal Fee would be decided shortly in consultation with our Advocate.
Item No. 7. Creation of WhatsApp Groups of TSEWA members: Maj Gen SN Mukherjee and Cmde KS Sandhu explained the progress on the subject in their areas of responsibility which has been appreciated by the President. The President requested that the activity should be completed by 31 Dec 21 as suggested by Gen Mukherjee.
There being no further points, the meeting was closed at 12:20 PM and decided to hold the next NEC Meeting on 13 November 2021.
