Minutes of Virtual Meeting of the Core Committee of TSEWA held at 1000 hrs on 22 May 2021

The General Secretary welcomed all present in the meeting and thanked them for their efforts to attend the virtual meeting. He informed that President, Brig CS Vidyasagar and Vice President, Cmde Sudheer Parakala are not able to attend the meeting and explained the reasons for not attending the meeting.
Points of Discussion
Item No. I– Next AGM: General Secretary informed that so far he has not received any agenda points from any of the TSEWA Members and requested to send the agenda points, if any, at the earliest. He informed that the notification of AGM has been published in 7 National News Papers in English as well as Hindi and conveyed his gratefulness to Brig SKS Rana, VSM, for his efforts in publication of these notification.
Item No. II– AFT Cases in Delhi: General Secretary expressed his concern & informed all the members that AFT has not been assembling due to the Pandemic & no progress of the cases has been there, he requested Brig SKS Rana, VSM to enquire from our Advocate in Delhi & take suitable action as deemed fit to progress the cases.
Item No. III– OROP Case: General Secretary informed that the legal fees is still being received. He requested Brig SKS Rana, VSM in consultation with Cmde. Sudheer Parakal to speak to the advocate concerned, so that we can decide about the case.
Item IV-Election of New TSEWA Executive Committee: Cmde KS Sandhu has informed that he has gone through the rules for the societies registered by Telangana Government and ready to perform the duties of Returning Officer for the election.
Item V – Progress of TSEWA Website: Mrs Rekha Sekhri has informed that the website site work is progressing continuously. She appreciated the efforts of Maj Dr. B Bhikshapathy for his contribution in progressing the website work. Progress of the website in brief was explained by Maj Dr. B Bhikshapathy. He thanked WO Thiruchelvam and Lt Col Dr. Bhaskara Reddy for their valuable suggestions. Further, he requested the members to go through the website at tsewa.aaradhyatechcorp.com and suggest for improvements, if any.
Item VI – Maj Gen SN Mukherjee informed that he was hospitalized for one week due to Corona and he is alright at present. Core Committee wished him for his speedy recovery.
Item VII – Lt Col Dr. Bhashara Reddy explained two medical devices developed by him, which can help the patients. Core Committee appreciated his efforts at the age of 80 years he is continuously working tirelessly.
Item IX – Col Dr. GB Sethi welcomed once again and appreciated Col Dr. P Nallathambi, who has joined the meeting for the first time and requested him to introduce himself to the committee. Col Dr. P Nallathambi explained the works they are carrying out in Chennai Metro and informed that WO Thiruchelvam is helping him in solving of the problems of ESM and their families.
Item X – Delay in reimbursement of medical bills for ECHS beneficieries: Brig SKS Rana, VSM, informed that there are number of ESM from UP TSEWA , who have complained about the delay in payment. He expressed concern about the financial difficulties faced by ESM due to this problem. Col Ajit Singh Rana supported this point saying that his own bill was reimbursed after 9 months. He requested Col Srikantha Seshadri to bring this problem to the notice of HQ ECHS.
Col Srikantha Seshadri requested the members to send him mails giving specific cases of delay in reimbursement, so that he can discuss with HQ ECHS. Further, he informed that at present, there is no scarcity of funds at ECHS Regional Centers and main reason for the delay is lack of sufficient clerical staff with the ECHS Polyclinics to process the medical bills.
There being no further points, the meeting was closed at 11:20 AM.
