The Core Committee thanked the office bearers and members of People for People for their generosity. Cases Not Yet Filed in AFTs: The General Secretary informed that AFT Delhi is also not entertaining Class Action suits. Our advocates in Delhi have also not filed many cases which are sent to them since Jan 2018. Therefore there is a need to file 7 cases lying with us in various regional AFTs. It was informed that we have 302 petitioners of 7 legal cases like AFT – 1C, HNS – 3, BB – 5 etc. The modality of identifying the advocates in regional AFTs need to be fine tuned so that there is least delay in filing the cases.

At this stage Col N Sitaramaiah suggested that regional AFTs at Kochi, Chennai, Mumbai and Jaipur be given to Lt Col N Ravi Choudhary for filing. Filing of legal cases in other regional AFTs i.e. AFT Chandigarh, Lucknow, Kolkata and Guwahait be entrusted to Gp Capt CRR Sastry.

The President suggested that Lt Col N Ravi Choudhary and Gp Capt CRR Sastry need to go to these places, meet the advocate selected, discuss the legal cases, finalise the terms and conditions and hand over the legal documents. We have identified suitable advocates in 7 out of 8 regional AFTs. This way we will be able to file all the 7 legal cases lying with HQ TSEWA at the earliest.
