CHEQUE OF RS 1 LAKH DONATED BY SMT ASHA VARANASI PRESENTED TO MS MOUNIKA, DAUGHTER OF SUB MALLESH (RETD)

Dear Sir,

          Smt Asha Varanasi, wife of an Ex-Serviceman donated Rs 1 Lakh to TSEWA with a request that this amount be utilised for education of girl child of an Ex-Serviceman & pursuing professional higher studies like MBBS, BDS, BVSc, Engineering, MBA, MCA etc.

          TSEWA was able to locate Ms Mounika daughter of Sub Mallesh (Retd) of EME who got admission in MBBS first year in Government Medical College, Karimnagar, Telangana on merit basis through seats reserved for children of Armed forces Personnel (CAP) by Govt of Telangana. The annual fee is Rs 70,000 per annum (for children who get admission under management quota, the fees is Rs 10 lakhs per annum). Sub Mallesh (Rtd) approached TSEWA for financial assistance.

          TSEWA checked all documents and was satisfied that Ms Mounika is an eligible beneficiary. Smt Asha Varanasi was informed of selection of beneficiary. The presentation of cheque of Rs 1 lakh was made on the auspicious festival day of Ganesh Chaturthi on 13 Sep 2018 in the office of TSEWA.

          TSEWA thanks Smt Asha Varanasi to come to rescue of Ms Mounika, a brilliant child of an Ex-Serviceman to prosecute MBBS degree.
