Greetings!
Welcome to the TSEWA Blog. Here, you will find updates on the activities of TSEWA as well as information of interest to the ESM community.
A little explanation about the various components in the blog:
If you are using a desktop or laptop, the navigation bar is seen at the top of the home page. If you are using a hand-held device like a tablet or smart phone, there will be three horizontal bars in a box. Clicking that will open up the navigation menu.
In the navigation bar, there are various buttons. “Home” takes the reader to the first page or the home page of the blog. The second is “About Us”, which contains information about the history of TSEWA and its committee members. “Join TSEWA” has the required downloadable forms and instructions to become a member of this organisation. “AFT Cases” tab contains two links – one to a table showing the latest status of the various cases filed by TSEWA or being compiled/processed; the other is a link explaining the procedure and documents for download if a veteran wishes to join any of the AFT cases. “Contact Us” gives the contact details of TSEWA as well as a form through which a reader can send a message to TSEWA. The next button “7CPC Arrears” gives instructions about calculation of 7CPC arrears. The last tab is a link to the TSEWA website.
The first post in the main pane of the blog (after the Welcome post) is the most recent post. Only the first few lines of the post are shown. If you are interested in reading further, you need to click on the “Continue Reading” button, which will take you to the complete post. Below the post heading, you will also see the date and also who the author of the post is. You can also leave a comment about the post by clicking on the “Leave a Comment” link. A comment box will open and you can write a comment and post it. These comments can be seen by all those who read the post. When the complete post is open, above the heading you will see the category of the post. Clicking on it will bring up all posts related to that category. At the bottom of the post, there is a clickable button to move to the previous or the next post. To get back to the first or Home page, just click on the Home button on the navigation bar or the home link at the top right of the page.
The side bar is seen on the right of the reading pane, if you are using a desktop or laptop. If you are using a hand-held device like a tablet or smart phone, the sidebar will be at the bottom of the page. You can turn your tab horizontally to be able to see it on the right of the screen.
The side bar has a number of components:
There is a “Translate” box where you are prompted to choose your language in which to read the posts. One can choose from Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu. Once you choose the language, the blog will get translated into that language. But please be aware that the translation is being done automatically and by a machine. There will be some, if not many mistakes in the translated matter. But we hope at least the essence of the matter will be conveyed.
Below this is the “Search” box, where a word or phrase can be entered and the search results should show up.
Below that are listed the five most “Recent posts” on the blog. Clicking on one will take you to that particular post.
Next is a drop-down box of “Categories” which can be used to search for specific categories of posts. It also shows how many posts there are in each category. By clicking on any one, all posts related to that category will be shown.
“Archives” contain all the posts from each month. Clicking on a particular month will show all the messages posted in that month.
Lastly is the “Visitor counter” which tracks how many people have visited the pages on the blog.
Remember, you can always get back to the first page of the blog by clicking on the Home button, which you will find at the top of every page or the home link at the top right of the page.
Hope veterans will enjoy visiting the TSEWA Blog. Please feel free to leave your comments and suggestions to improve it further.
Thanks and happy reading!

I went through the blog so meticulously written I had no difficulty in finding my information about the AFT cases and the present position . I must really congratulate the web designer just the requirement for old hags like me winding through the Info faze and getting the information on PC. I am kind up to date and thanks for the great leadership and efforts put by the Tsewa staff and the leading president Brigadier Vidya Sagar. The blog is updated whenever there is some new information available. If there is no change, it means that the case has not progressed and the status remains the same. The best person to give you the latest info about the case will be the case coordinator. He will be able to tell you what is the progress and proposed further action.
I think blog information will be comprehensive including inputs from the co-ordinators.
Please check the Table of AFT cases in the TSEWA blog at http://www.tsewa.org for the latest updates.
A very good initiative which is helpful to veterans and their families. It should be updated regularly. Thanks a lot for the good effort.

While there is no index as such, you can go to the drop down box in the left side bar and select the topic of your interest. Or you can type in a word or phrase in the search box and get what you’re looking for.
Hope this helps.

Dear Smt Rekha Sekhri ji,
Words fail to thank you for your superlative effort in designing the new TSEWA blog. It is definitely better and more user friendly. The simplicity of the blog will make more users whether they are members or non members to use the blog.
The usefulness of blog is manifested only if it informative, latest and useful to the readers. I know it is a full time job for you as an Administrator. Since you are the designer you have the knowledge to see the TSEWA blog becomes the most preferred one for all the veterans, family pensioners and even civilians who are interested to know about military.
Thank you so much for making this blog a reality.
Even in my dreams I could never imagine our TSEWA blog is so useful and so beautiful!

Now the site is better to navigate. Is this the place to post any new topic or article for information to veterans ?
Or, I may be that I may be required to read all the instructions to find it probably. OR we have to register to post articles. I have registered and it will take time to process the registration
Easy to Navigate
With regards

I am glad you are finding that the blog is better to navigate than the earlier one.By subscribing to the blog, you will get emails informing when some new post is available. You can then navigate to the blog to view the entire article.
You may comment on any post. But if you want to post on a new topic, I am afraid that option is not available to the registered user. You may, of course, contact us using the contact form (Contact Us) and we can perhaps manage it.
Regards,
Team TSEWA
Dear Ms. Rekha ji,
It is unfortunate that we discovered you so late, we did not have to go to distant places & request people to create Blog for TSEWA when we have a talent in house. It is an extremely good job & in due course it will become a real source if communications within & out of TSEWA for the benefit of our fraternity.
I must compliment you on behalf of all the members of Executive committee in particular & TSEWA members in general.
With Regards,
