The TSEWA Blog was launched on 30 Oct 2016 as a means of communication with Veterans, giving updates on the activities of TSEWA as well as information of interest to the ESM community. In just one month, it had 10,000 hits and in two years, a million hits! Veterans could access it easily and found it a convenient way to check on the latest status of AFT cases, new MoD circulars, activities of TSEWA like awareness camps, charity etc.

With the increasing amount of information to be disseminated and realizing the need to make it more easily available to the Veteran community, it was felt that a full-fledged website for TSEWA was necessary. Accordingly, after a few months of work, a suitable website was developed.

At the Annual General Body Meeting of TSEWA held on 27 June 2021, the new TSEWA Website is being officially launched. It is available at the same address as the Blog: www.tsewa.org.

The main difference between the existing blog and the website is that in the latter, the content is organized in pages; whereas the blog had posts. Visitors will see that all the information and news that was available on the TSEWA Blog is now available on the TSEWA Website. The advantage is that it is now organized more efficiently. This makes it much easier to find the content one is interested in. The tabs which are available at the top of the site are menus with sub-menus, and hence make it easy to navigate to whatever content the visitor wishes to access.

The TSEWA Blog still exists as part of the Website and will continue to be updated with the latest news and information. I look forward to Veterans continuing to visit the Blog, as before.
