Workshop cum Pension Adalat  By TSEWA
on 14 Jan 2017, TRI SERVICES VETERANS DAY.

TSEWA team visited the Eastern Naval Command, and educated  the Visakhapatnam Sailors Foundation (VSF) members on  various entitlements of ESM, 7 CPC etc  on 20 Nov 2016 and also conducted  “Pension Adalat”. Approx 350 VSF members benefited from the presentation and interaction.

It is learnt that All  three Services has accepted 14 Jan as the Tri Services Veterans’ Day and the First Veterans’ Day is likely to be celebrated on 14 Jan 2017. TSEWA has volunteered to conduct a workshop cum  “Pension Adalat” on that Day as was done on 20 Nov 2016.
And approx 15,000 Ex-Servicemen(three Servces) are attached to the INCS and the ECHS. And presently, there is no official mechanism to redress their grievances of the ESM in the Command ,except  CRSO ,which caters exclusively for the VSF members.

In view of the above,the Chief of Staff, HQ  Eastern Naval Command has been requested for the following:

• Permit TSEWA to conduct workshop cum Pension Adalat on 14 Jan 2017, TRI SERVICES VETERANS DAY.
• Allot a small office accn in the INCS to establish grievance Redressal Mechanism for the Veterans of the Tri Services and it be named as “TRI SERVICES VETERANS WELFARE OFFICE “ and inaugurated on 14 Jan 2017
