How to register at RODRA and get your 7 CPC – e-PPO

Pension Payment Order (PPO) is an important document as far as Pensioners are concerned which determines the Pension to be fixed at the time of retirement. Until October 2017, process of issuing PPO was done manually by PCDA.

PCDA has started issuing electronic-Pension Payment Orders (e-PPOs) for all defence pensioners including defence civilians.  The shift from manual system to e-PPO system is expected to minimize delays in pension disbursement and further revision as and when needed. This initiative also eliminates the occurrence of human errors in data entry at multiple levels.

Retired Officers Digital Records Archive (RODRA)

MP 5&6, AGs Branch, Army HQ is responsible for maintaining records of serving and veteran officers of Indian Army.

  5. Sir, Please let me know who will send the duly filled form of ” LPC cum Datasheet of revision of Pension/Family Pension in respect of Pre -2016 Commissioned Officer as per 7th CPC ” . I retd in 1981 and I do not have all that data , which is required to to be filled in that form , The” LPC cum Datasheet ” has been duly downloaded from RODRA Website . The documents which are to be uploaded are not very clear. The PENSIONERS / FAMILY PENSIONERS is available with PCDA(O) & PCDA ( P ). This available date can be collected from both them to prepare the ePPO instead of asking the pensioners/family pensioners to provide the DATA/INFORMATION. I request you clarify the matter, Thanks

pls help. I have opened in both google chrome as well as IE

  9. Must also include as to how/ what action needs to be taken if e ppo not received/ uploaded. Documents to be forwarded to cda ,mp5-6.Also give correct addresses and methods to send docus by e.mail with addresses. Rest is well covered…Thank’s..

  10. An officer whose records are maintained in Digital system by AG (mp5 and mp6) should be such that the officer can view the records on the official web site for verifying if the
Entries are correctly uploaded into the document page on the website.

Secondly the OTP system should be dispensed with as it is not suitable for all conditions
Forexample an officercould be visiting children abroad, some could be on travel outside
Country for few months and some, could have problem with their mobile itself , on
Occasions, that too on crucial time and similar unexpected conditions of wether, net etc.

It is therefore suggested. OTP or any other indicators as may be considered better, could be sent by mail to each officers mail id recorded ..
Further ppos may also be sent to each officer by mail that will keep the officer posted
Upto date from the authority since the bankers do not provide those documents and such
New PPOs are not of a regular pattern officers may not know when New PPO us issued
mp5 &mp6 may be pleased to indicate the record of family pensioer in r/o each officer
In the PPO issued and every time a new PPO is issued for the information of the officer
that may help the officer should there arise a necessity to change details.
