It is with great sorrow that we inform you that Lt Col Latif Vadakkayil, a founding member of TSEWA, passed away at 1137 hrs on Sunday, 20 May 2018 at Aster MIMS Hospital, Kozhikode (Calicut), surrounded by family and friends. He was a member of the National Executive Committee and President of Pension Div of TSEWA and worked tirelessly for the organisation.

Lt Col Abdul Latif Vadakkayil, M Tech, was from SS – 18 course and joined the Corps of Signals of Indian Army. He is survived by his wife, Mrs Nayeemath Latif, his elder son, Adil Latif, his younger son, Cdr Adnan Latif, Naval Aviation Offr and a daughter Khatija.

Lt Col Latif Vadakkayil devoted his entire time for Ex-Servicemen and Family Pensioners. He worked selflessly for the service of the ESM community.
