         Minutes of the Virtual Meeting of the TSEWA National Executive Committee held at 1000 hrs on 24 July 2021

The President welcomed all present in the meeting and thanked them for sparing time to attend the virtual meeting.

ITEM NO.I. TSEWA NEC Meeting: President informed that there is a proposal for the NEC Meeting to be held monthly, instead of Fortnightly. The NEC discussed the matter and decided to continue it as Fortnightly meeting for the next 3 months and review after 3 months i.e. end Oct 21.

ITEM NO.2. Registration of Office Accommodation:  President stated that he was glad to inform the Members that as approved by NEC during the previous meeting and based on recommendations of the Committee headed by Col Sitaramaiah, the Agreement of sale was concluded with the Edifice Constructions by paying an advance cheque of Rs.10.00 lakhs on 14 Jul 2021. He informed the Members that the Registration of the flat 101, in Edifice Pride will be done today the 24 Jul 2021 by paying the balance due to the builder.

ITEM NO.3. AFT Cases: General Secretary informed that 2 AFT cases pending with TSEWA for filing will hopefully be filed in AFT within 2 weeks or so. He informed that he had spoken to Col Ravi Chowdhary who assured that the needful would be done.

ITEM NO.4. Progress of Website:  Maj Dr. B Bhikshapathy expressed his concern over the delay in submission of required documents by TSEWA Office, for registration of TSEWA with Payment Gateway, PayUMoney. General Secretary opined that there is no need of Payment Gateway to be integrated with our website, as NEFT/SWIFT etc is good enough. NEC discussed the issue at length once again and decided to have the Payment Gateway integrated and to submit the required documents at the earliest. The President stressed the need for payment gateway to facilitate visitors to the website to send donations and Membership fee etc. using the payment gateway. He requested Maj (Dr) Bhikshapathy to liaise with Aaradhya Technologies and clarify about onetime payment of Rs.10,000/- and confirm that their commission is chargeable to the donors. This may be clarified during the next NEC Meeting on 14 Aug 21. He requested the General Secretary to upload the requisite documents without any further delay.

ITEM NO.5. Donations for TSEWA Office Accommodation: Treasurer, Lt Col VC Salins informed that in addition to Rs.10.16 lakhs received in the last one year, a sum of Rs 13.49 lakhs was received within the last fortnight after the proposal floated by the President on 10 Jul 21 making it a total of Rs.23.65 lakhs. He informed the Members that a full list of Donors would be put up shortly. However, he mentioned that there were four major Donors whose details are given below:

  1. Sri P Munikrishna, MD, Parashakti Cements – Rs.2.00 Lakhs
  2. Col Randhir Singh Sekhon –         Rs.1.50 Lakhs
  3.   Lt Col Ayodhya Prasad Pande –    Rs.1.00 Lakh
  4. Col Harcharan Singh Bajwa –       Rs.1.00 Lakh

ITEM NO.6. Renewal of ISO Certification of TSEWA:  Lt Col Dr. Bhaskara Reddy has brought out the need for renewal of ISO Certification in time and suggested to do the needful. The President requested the General Secretary to look into this matter on priority and renew the ISO Certification.

ITEM NO.7. OROP Case:  Brig CS Vidyasagar informed the details of the progress of the case and suggested to have the services of TSEWA Advocate Lt Col Ravi Chowdhary to file the case at Hyderabad High Court. The President informed that subsequent to the meeting held with Col Ravi Chowdhary on 22 Jul 21, he has agreed to an all inclusive fee of Rs.1.15 lakhs till the judgement is given. He requested Brig CS Vidyasagar, Chief Mentor, TSEWA to coordinate filing of the case as early as possible by assisting Col Ravi Chowdhary.

ITEM NO.8. ESM Meeting with Mr. Anand, Secretary, DESW: President, Cmde Sudheer Parakala informed the Members that Shri Anand, Secretary, DESW, GOI is chairing a Meeting of some ESM Organisations on 30 July 2021 but has not invited TSEWA for the meeting. He said that Shri Anand was requested by mail to renew NCESMO Meetings Chaired by Hon’ble RM and in the interim to invite TSEWA rep at Delhi Brig SKS Rana, VSM to attend the meeting on 30 Jul 21.

ITEM NO.9. Increase in the Registration Charges of TSEWA Office Accomodation:   President informed that the Telangana Government has suddenly announced increase in Registration Charges w.e.f. 22 July 21 itself instead of 01 Aug 21. This may necessitate TSEWA to pay some extra amount for Registration and that details would be put up to the NEC after the registration formalities were completed.

There being no further points, and since some of the TSEWA Management Committee Members had to proceed for Registration work, the meeting was closed at 11:05 AM.

Served in various ships for 9 years including commissioning of India's First Guided Missile Destroyer INS Rajput. Important shore appointments include Dy Naval Attache, Moscow, DS at CDM, Director Naval Plans, Principal Director Procurement at NHQ, Chief Staff Officer (LA&P) at ENC and HF at CDM. Took pre-mature retirement after 32 years service at the peak of career before the Promotion Board to the Flag Rank on compassionate Grounds. At Present totally dedicated to the Ex-Servicemen Welfare and is the President of East & South Zones of TSEWA
