The President welcomed all present and thanked them for their efforts to attend the meeting. He requested the General Secretary to commence the proceedings by speaking on his points.
General Secretary’s Points.
Item No 1. Attendance of JCO/OR Delegates for RMs Meeting: General Secretary informed that the next Meeting of NCESMO Delegates with Hon’ble Raksha Mantri will be held on 18th of February 2019. The house emphasised the need to encourage the JCO/OR of member associations to attend the meeting of NCESMO.
Immediately the President spoke to the Presidents of Tadepalli ESM Association and Cumbum ESM Association and requested them to attend the meeting on 18 Feb 2019. Both of them expressed their inability to attend due to cost of travel and accommodation at Delhi.
The Core Committee deliberated the issue of reimbursement of the cost of travel and accommodation for two and unanimously approved their attendance will enhance image of NCESMO. They gave their approval to reimburse the cost of travel by AC-II and accommodation for one time to attend the NCESMO meeting

Item No 2. Attendance of TSEWA Members for Inauguration of National War Memorial by Hon’ble PM on 25th February 2019: General Secretary said that information about this event was received from the Kendriya Sainik Board with the invite for ESM to attend. The House felt that TSEWA Members residing in Delhi and NCR should be requested to attend the inauguration. One Rep from Hq TSEWA may also attend.

Item No 3. TSEWA Mail ID to be shared with MoD for Dissemination of Information: General Secretary said that a request was received from the Min of Def for sharing the email id of TSEWA for communicating information. It was decided that General Secretary will share the email id triservies.hyd@gmail.com to Ministry of Defence.

Item No 4. Case filed in AFT Jaipur Bench: General Secretary said that Col SB Singh has conveyed that an Original Application in Broad Banding matter was filed in the AFT Jaipur Bench and the case is under scrutiny by the staff of the Tribunal. Since the AFT Jaipur Bench is not functional due to lack of Coram, the admission of the case is likely to take some more time.

Item No 5. IT Exemption under Sec 80G: Treasurer said that all documents required for seeking the Exemption have been submitted to the concerned authorities in the IT Dept and the case is under the examination of the Department. Efforts are being made to obtain an early appointment to put forward our case for the Exemption.

Item No 5. Payments to Advocate: Treasurer informed that acknowledgement for Payments made to Advocate Brig. AK Srivastava to an extent of Rs 27 lakhs was received. Three more bills are also received. General Secretary suggested that the amount to be paid for each case should first be ascertained on the basis of number of applicants and amount be paid as per the schedule of payment agreed.

Item No 7. Family Pension for the Handicapped Son of Late Col Veeramani: Treasurer said that the Handicapped Son of Late Col Veeramani- Mr Akshayadeep has been examined afresh recently and a fresh Certificate of Handicap was received from Govt Hospital Mental Diseases, Yerragadda, Hyderabad. The certificate will be sent to MP5/6 of Army Hq for onward transmission to PCDA(P). Col VS Ramana Reddy said that he is in regular touch with CPPC, OBC and Hony Fg Offr AV Reddy is also pursuing the matter vigorously. He said that the Family Pension to Mr Akshayadeep is likely to be started very soon.

Item No 8. Awareness Programme at MEG Centre Benguluru: Hony Capt B Joseph said that MEG Centre have intimated about the Discharge drill for February 19 will be done from 18th Feb and more than 350 personnel are likely to attend. The President asked him to go ahead with his programme for this event as planned.

Item No 9. Awareness Camp at JJ Nagar: The President requested Hony Capt B Joseph to organise the Awareness Camp for the ESM of twin cities of Hyderabad- Secunderabad on any suitable date after 18th February 20019 at a suitable location. Hony Capt Joseph agreed to organise the event at an early date.

Item No 10. Precedent Case for SFP for Widows of Personnel who died in harness, but death was not declared as “Not Attributable to Service- ot Aggravated by Service”: The President said that a case filed by Smt Srikumari Nettimi (OA 191/2017) seeking SFP by declaring that the death of her husband while in Service due to massive heart attack as “Attributable to Service/ Aggravated by Service”, has been allowed by the AFT, Chennai and requested Gp Capt CRR Sastry and Lt Col Ravi Chowdary to study the case in order to strengthen our OAs in the matter.

Item No XI. Action to be initiated by TSEWA on the Dysfunctional State of AFT. After extensive discussion on the subject, it was felt that we need to observe the stand of MOD/Government on the subject which will probably figure prominently during the Raksha Mantri’s meeting with NCESMO delegates and the speech of Hon’ble PM during the inauguration of National War Memorial. The house therefore decided that the matter should be discussed after 25th February 2019.
