Charity activity by Col Nagesh Chandra Gupta, USA, Retired Indian Army Officer (Engineers)

Col Nagesh Chandra Gupta, who served in the Indian Army (Corps of Engineers) and is now settled in the USA, is donating in the name of his late wife, Smt. Madhuri, for the education of poor and deserving children through the Madhuri Seva Fund for college/school fees and examination fees. He also extended financial help to the families of poor children who were starved during COVID-19. Recently, he had a noble thought to provide purified water to college/school children and donated Rs. 2,75,000 for the installation of RO Plants and Water Coolers. So far, he has donated Rs. 30,35,178/-, the details of which are given below:

  • For Students’ Education (Number of students benefited: 357): Rs. 20,21,178/-
  • Financial Help to Poor Families During COVID-19 (308 families): Rs. 4,39,000/-
  • Installation of RO Plants and Water Coolers in Colleges/Schools: Rs. 2,75,000/-
  • Procurement of Permanent Office Building: Rs. 2,00,000/-
  • Medical Treatment of Miss Mahima Sagar: Rs. 1,00,000/-

An amount of Rs.8,96,705/- has been given to Railway Degree College Students by “Madhuri Seva Fund”, an article was published about Col Nagesh Chandra Gupta in their annual magazine.
