The President welcomed all present and thanked them for sparing their time to attend the meeting. He requested the General Secretary to commence the proceedings by giving out his points.
General Secretary’s Points
Item No I: Income Tax Exemption under Sec 80 G of Income Tax Act 1961. The General Secretary informed that Exemption Certificate was issued to TSEWA on 14th March 2019 and the soft copy was received and posted on the Blog. The members and environment are happy about this achievement and donations are trickling in. Fresh Receipt books with IT Exemption details etc will be printed. Treasurer was requested to formulate a SOP for receiving donations and issuing receipts to the donors.

Item No II. Charity Proposals from Cumbum, Prakasam Dist, Andhra Pradesh. The General Secretary informed that some proposals of Charity for persons in Cumbum have been handed over to the President, Charity Division for consideration and decision. In this connection, he said that from next financial year onwards, budget for charity should be allocated quarter wise so that at the end of the year over/under disbursal of Charity can be avoided. He requested Treasurer to consider this.

Item No III. Agenda for NEC Meeting on 24th March 2019. General Secretary informed that no comments/ additional agenda points were received from members after the Notice for the NEC was issued. There after the General Secretary reviewed the agenda for the meeting and said that besides the ratification of major decisions taken in weekly committee meetings and major expenditure incurred during the last quarter, a review of charity activities and legal cases should be presented by Cmde Sudheer Parakala (Retd) and Gp Capt CRR Sastry(Retd) respectively.

Item No IV. Issues Raised by Col KP Radhakrishnan on AFT 29. Gp Capt CRR Sastry(Retd) informed that Lt Col KP Radhakrishnan (Retd) raised the issue of considerable delay in filing the case and that the case should be handed over to another advocate preferably Wg Cdr Ambrish Aggarwal (Retd) an advocate practicing in AFT Delhi. Brig SKS Rana (Retd) was consulted in the matter who said tat the case is already handed over to Brig AK Srivastava (Retd) who has issued a legal notice in the matter. Hence it is not desirable to change the Advocate at this stage.

Item No V. NEC Meeting on 24th March 2019. The President requested all NEC Members to attend the meeting without fail. It is important to have meaningful NEC Meetings to ensure healthy growth of TSEWA.

Item No VI. NCESMO Meeting. The President complimented Col N Sitaramaiah (Retd) who has played a crucial role in getting some ESM Organisations join the NCESMO by forming the AP State Unit of NCESMO. He requested him to facilitate similar efforts by Hony Capts B Joseph (Retd) and MN Reddy (Retd) in Telangana State.
