PROGRESS OF COURT CASE IN THE HON’BLE SUPREME COURT WP(C) 000934 / 2018

Dear All,

Case regarding ECHS Card filed in the Hon’ble Supreme Court WP(C) / 000934 / 2018 had come up for the first hearing on 07 Sep 2018 in the Court of Justices HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE MADAN B. LOKUR and HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE DEEPAK GUPTA.

The case was heard by the Hon’ble Court but disposed on the same day as the it was not inclined to entertain the petition stating that ₹ 177.00 is not a big amount to pay by the beneficiaries for getting the medical facilities.

The Hon’ble Court has not passed any comment on the merits of the case and made a passing remark of why the remedy has not been sought from High Court.

The delay in passing this info has been deliberate as the case needs to be discussed with lawyer once again to file the case in Hon’ble High Court with certain modifications in the grounds and the prayer( Subject to approval of HQ TSEWA). Since inquiries are coming from members of TSEWA asking for the present position I have posted the actual position of the case for info of all.

The case stands disposed as dismissed.
